Big Changes for Wednesday Night Live!

BIG CHANGES! There will be NO charge for admission this year and NO supper for 1^st through 6^th Grade. This age group will keep the same schedule as previous years, but will be dismissed at 6:00. Any donations or scholarship money will cover the meals for Jr High and High School since they meet from 6:00 to 7:50 PM. Their meal will be prepared by five “cooking partners” who will alternate to cook for about 40 youth each week.

There will be two FAMILY EVENTS to begin and end the year. Everyone is invited, even if you do not have children involved in WNL. A tailgate will kick off the new year on September 14^th, so bring you pickup, blanket or lawn chairs and join students and their parents under the trees.

Sixth Grade will be going through confirmation with Sean Moore and Nancy McDougall after school from 4:00 to 5:40.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Teacher gathering is Wednesday, September 7^th at 6:00 in the Fellowship Hall.

First night of WNL is Wednesday, September 14^th.

Family Night and Tailgate Event is September 14^th at 6:00 PM.

VOLUNTEERS AND DONATIONS ARE NEEDED TO MAKE THIS PROGRAM POSSIBLE! Call Susan Johnson 793-6356 if you would like to be a part of this important outreach. We need cooking partners, teachers, homework helpers, playground workers, and drivers each week. We need even more help in the kitchen for the tailgate night and adults to sit with children whose parents do not attend the event. So, one night or the whole semester, where would you like to volunteer?
