Happy New Year
The Soaring Eagles meeting will be Monday at Liberty Hill UMC. The meal begins at 6 p.m., the worship at 7 p.m.
MEN’S WALK 1649
The Living Waters / Soaring Eagles men's walk will be March 1st thru March 4th, 2011 at Eagles Wings.
The team has been selected and lay director Pete Nodecker reminds us that the team needs prayers, lots of pilgrims and agape.
Locations have been set for team meetings. They will be be on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM as follows:
January 7 @ FUMC Burnet: talks 1 thru 5 will be previewed
January 21 @ FUMC Marble Falls: talks 6 thru 10 will be previewed
February 4 @ FUMC Burnet: talks 11 thru 15 will be previewed - outside team will probably join us for breakfast and worship
February 18: make up meeting (only if we have not accomplished all of our preparation)
February 27: Living Waters gathering / team commissioning at FUMC Marble Falls
WOMEN’S WALK

As the upcoming lay director for the women's walk in 2012, I am feeling excited, anxious, humbled and truly blessed. This is an opportunity to serve God and hopefully with His and your help, develop Christian leaders within our community! The women's walk will be held at Eagles Wings on Oct. 18 - 21st. I know this seems like eons away but time flies when we are having fun right? I ask that you prayerfully consider working on the inside or outside team as well as any pilgrims you could sponsor. Team applications are being accepted now through April. Team selection will take place in early may. I wish to thank you for your unyielding commitment to serve our ever faithful Lord.
