PSALMS 95 (V.1 and 2)
Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; Let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and songs.
The Joy Choir is a true joy to hear Sundays at the 11:00 traditional service. This music is a vital part of our worship. Joy Choir practices Thursday evenings at 6 o'clock. Everyone who loves to sing is welcome.
"The term 'Amateur' means that you do something for the 'Love' of doing. My choir members are truly Amateurs in every sense. They show up to rehearsals every week and perform every Sunday because they love to sing and they love to sing for God and this Congregation. I don't know a better way to show love than to sing for the Lord, except to share that experience with your friends. My Mama used to tell me "when you sing in church you pray TWICE". Steve Gennette
We encourage anyone who would like to sing or plays an instrument to let our music director, Steve Gennette know of your interest. Steve can be reached at: 512-756-2229.
Regularly the Jubilee Ringers add variety to the traditional service. The members enjoy “ringing for the Lord” and practice on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 in the Sanctuary. This group always welcoming new members who are interested in joining them. Technique can be taught so don't be intimidated if you have never rung before.
