MAY 10, 2008 ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES Currently Studying: Numbers Description: The Genesis class consists mostly of retired adults, but anyone; singles and couples of all ages are welcome to attend. The Genesis class is a “discussion-oriented” class. A bible chapter or chapters are read followed by a “free-flowing” discussion. The Genesis class is located in the Fellowship Hall. Currently Studying: Cokesbury Quarterly Bible Series Description: The Rainbow class is open to ladies of all ages. Each week the Rainbow class has an open discussion followed by a structured lesson from a Bible Scripture, and the hour is filled with learning, wisdom, and ideas. The Rainbow class is located in the Rainbow Sunday school room. Currently Studying: Cokesbury Quarterly Bible Series The Men’s class is open to Men of all ages. Each week the men’s class discusses a chapter in the Cokesbury Adult Bible Study Series. The Men’s class is located in the Men’s Sunday school room/Church Library. Currently Studying: Life Lessons Bible Study Series by Max Lucado Description: The Life Lessons class consists mostly of parents, but is open to anyone who would be interested in this study on Jesus that asks what changes do we need to make in our lives? The Life Lessons class is located in the Spares and Pairs Sunday school room. Currently Studying: Live B.I.G. Description: This class is designed for children in grades Kindergarten through 2nd. This is a Sunday school adventure where the children hear, see, and live their belief in God. They come to know the love of God through Jesus. The younger children’s Sunday school class is located in the Family Life Center. Currently Studying: Live B.I.G. Description: This class is designed for children in grades 3rd-5th. This is a Sunday school adventure where the children hear, see, and live their belief in God. They come to know the love of God through Jesus. The older children’s Sunday school class is located in the Family Life Center. Currently Studying: People and Places of the Bible Description: The Junior High class is designed for Junior High (or Middle School) students from grades 6-8. The Junior High class is currently studying about the different people and places in the Bible. Their activities include discussion and various games related to the lesson. The Junior High Sunday school class is located in the Junior High room in the main church building. Currently Studying: Topical (Varies each week) Description: The Senior High class is designed for high school students from grades 9-12. Each week the Senior High class follows a Bible based curriculum. The High School class is currently studying the people of the Old Testament in a timeline format.
